Dulwich College International High School Programme in Zhuhai is the first of its kind for Dulwich College and offers a four year preparation course for Chinese High School students who wish to attend overseas universities. Students study for IGCSE and A Level examinations and participate in a number of extra-curricular activities and service projects. Over the next two years, the Programme is expected to grow to 450 students. Teachers work in a well resourced, purpose built facility with small class sizes and motivated students. A competitive package includes flight allowance, accommodation, domestic allowance, shipping and medical cover.
Applicants should have at least two years teaching experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education. I/GCSE and A-Level experience required. An EFL/TESOL qualification is an advantage.
Zhuhai is one of several Special Economic Zones in mainland China and is experiencing considerable development. Macau lies only minutes away and a one hour ferry journey offers a leisurely ride to Hong Kong. Zhuhai is well positioned for flights into China and South East Asia. Teachers live in Huafa New Town area which is close to the College and offers modern accommodation of a high standard.
